I’m not a professional hairstylist. I don’t have a cosmetology license hanging on my wall. What I do have is years of personal experience, countless hours of research, and a bathroom cabinet full of products I’ve tested so you don’t have to waste your money on things that don’t work.
How Hairtend Started
My hair journey hasn’t always been smooth. I’ve dealt with frizz that seemed impossible to tame, breakage that made me consider just cutting it all off, and more bad hair days than I’d like to admit. For years, I tried everything—expensive salon treatments, drugstore products, DIY remedies from the internet, and pretty much every tool on the market.
Some things worked. Many things didn’t. But through all that trial and error, I learned what actually makes a difference and what’s just marketing hype.
I started writing about hair care because I wished someone had shared this information with me earlier. Not advice from professionals trying to sell me services, but honest tips from someone who had been through the same struggles and figured out what works in real life, on a real budget, with real time constraints.

I’m honest when something doesn’t work. And I never suggest products just because they’re popular—only because they actually deliver results.
